About Safe Space Counselling

I offer an integrative approach and have experience working with clients with alcohol and gambling addictions, I also work with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, bereavement, work stress and many other problems that people have to face.

I have a keen interest in working with parents that are coping with the stresses of raising children with additional support needs. This comes from my own experience of being a parent of a child with ASD and I have realised support is limited for parents dealing with the impacts it can have on you or the wider family. I work with teenagers and young people who have either an ASD diagnosis or are going through the process of waiting for a diagnosis. Teenage years can already be a struggle but being neurodiverse can add additional struggles into the mix. Therapy aims us to reduce stigma and can benefit children's thinking and learning differences that will help them going forward.
